WHEN'S THE NEXT FULL MOON?
So last February, I decided I was going to start the new
year with a new diet and knock 40 pounds off this body.
HA, yeah, right. I now weigh 10 pounds more than I did
I know I've blogged about this before, but WHY CAN'T I
KEEP MY BIG FAT MOUTH SHUT?
Why is it so hard to stop eating chocolate, cake, candy,
brownies, pizza, taccos etc. etc.?
Why does something that tastes so good, make you look
Crap, I just ate two pieces of cake while writing this blog.
If brussel sprouts, cauliflower and asparagus made you
fat I would be soooo skinny!
I always have the best intentions when I'm lying on the
couch, watching an exercise video. Even though I'm not
budging off that couch, in my mind I'm doing those f ing
I'm always going to start a diet the first of every month.
Then again, if the first is on a Tuesday, I might as well
wait until Sunday. The best time to start a diet is the first
of the week, right? But, I reason, I should just wait until
the weekend is over and start on Monday. Except since
Monday is the most stressful day of the work week, I
reach for the comfort food and blow it. Did I mention I
don't even work on Mondays?
So again I wait for the first of the month to arrive and
the vicious circle starts all over.
And don't forget the holidays, New Years, Valentine's
Day, St. Patrick's Day, April fool (doesn't everyone
consider this a holiday?), Easter, Memorial Day, Flag
day, the fourth of July, my birthday in August, Labor
Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Who in
their right mind starts a diet around the holidays?
NO MORE EXCUSES!
I'm going to start my diet the first day of the next full
Unless of course if it's in the middle of the week, the
weekend, my birthday, a Monday or a holiday.
